IPPL (UK) was a ‘highly commended’ finalist at this year’s Charity Awards for our Save the Gibbon campaign. These awards ‘recognise and celebrate excellence in the leadership and management of charities’. The Save the Gibbon campaign was launched in November 2010 and in its first four months received national television and radio coverage, featured in around 150 publications, and raised £12,000 for the world’s forgotten ape, the gibbon.
